Emelia is a beautiful C & C Landfall 48 sailing vessel built in 1981.
Her owners are Gene Nelson & Jennifer van Nelson and their two sons, Ryan 1/89 and Evan 6/91.

Gene is a successful songwriter in Nashville,TN. His hits include Eighteen Wheels and a Dozen Roses, I Have You, Bubba Hyde & This Everyday Love.

Jennifer is a top selling Realtor and Training Coordinator with ERA Pacesetter Partners.

Ryan enjoys photography & fencing. He has completed his high school lessons a year ahead of schedule.

Evan is an avid drawer, enjoys table tennis & video games. He has become interested in learning to speak Japanese and practices weekly.

We have owned many sail boats over the years and have been sailing together since 1988. We have sailed the lakes of Nashville and Kentucky, the West and East Coast of Florida, the East Coast as far North as the Potomac River to Washington DC and on numerous occasions we have sailed The Virgin Islands and The Bahamas. During our travels we have met and kept in touch with many new friends and boating families. We hope to see many of our old friends and meet new ones along the way while traveling together as a family on Emelia.
